Disclaimer & mpany Policies

Clean Cozy Home does not guarantee the removal of stains such as paint, rust, mildew or others caused by hard water build-up or lack of regular maintenance.

We require a minimum 1-2 hour arrival window to assist with anything unforeseen and out of our control. We do our best to arrive early or as close to the agreed time as possible but appreciate your understanding that some things are out of our control such as unforeseen traffic, difficult parking due to construction, blocked streets or weather conditions.

We require a minimum of 48 hours written notice via text or email for canceling, changing or adding time to your appointment or a cancellation fee of $75 will be applied. If it is within 12 hours or less of your scheduled cleaning service, the full amount of the clean will be applied.

​

Should you not be satisfied with your cleaning service, please let us know asap or at most within 24 hours by texting us photos of unsatisfactory areas to the number 415-340-1458 or email info@cleancozyhome.com and we will return within 24 hours or as soon as possible, free of charge to fix the areas of concern. We will always do our best to remedy the situation but please notify us as soon as possible. If more than 24 hours has passed,  then we do not guarantee services.

 

We do not provide cash or check refunds. Please contact us to see what we can do to help but the sooner you notify us, the better so we can help in a prompt matter.

Unless we previously discussed providing organizational help, all areas are expected to be free of clutter and accessible to be properly cleaned on the day of cleaning.

For safety reasons, if you anticipate there being any mold, blood, animal feces, urine or human fecal matter or urine, please let us know as soon as possible before the date of service. 

​

If your home or office is currently a hoarder situation please let us know as soon as possible before the date of service. Sending photos beforehand to 415-340-1458 or info@cleancozyhome.com will be helpful so we can determine if we can assist and come prepared.

If the home has had a recent (not current) insect, rodent or animal infestation, let us know as soon as possible before the date of service. Sending photos beforehand to 415-340-1458 or info@cleancozyhome.com will be helpful so we can determine if we can assist and come prepared.

We require to be informed of items or surfaces needing special care 48 hours in advance. We are not responsible for damage due to fault and/or improper installation or age of any item.

​

All surfaces (i.e. marble, granite, hardwood floors, etc.) are assumed properly sealed and ready to be cleaned with cleaning agents without causing harm to them. Furniture on wood floors is assumed to have proper protection we will not be responsible for furniture scratching or damaging flooring.

 

We only clean windows and blinds that can be reached with a 6 step ladder provided by client. For safety, no other jobs should be done while we are cleaning.The presence of other workers or excess of people in the house might cause the estimate to be inaccurate. Having other work done in a house/office while our teams are working might affect the cost and time needed to complete the cleaning to your satisfaction.

No heavy furniture will be moved unless discussed and agreed upon in advance.

If you have a pet that cannot be controlled or shows aggression you are required to remove it immediately from all work areas for everyones comfort and safety. Should you not be able to accommodate this safety request, we will not be able to provide services and you will be charged the full amount that you scheduled the services for.

You are required to provide access to hot water and electricity for all cleaning services. If you anticipate having power outage or water shut down, please notify us as soon as possible to reschedule or cancel service. â€‹â€‹

The customer is responsible to provide parking for the cleaners. If you are unable to provide free parking, the customer is responsible for all parking costs related to meters or parking garages.

Payments are always due same day at the end of each cleaning service. Payment options are available on our payments page. Note that a 5% monthly penalty will be added to invoices 30 days late from date of cleaning. An additional 5% penalty will be added every 30 days there after.
